Kanal D’s highly anticipated new drama “Karakuyu” is continuing its preparations ahead of production, with several new names joining the cast. OGM Pictures will produce the series, with Deniz Akçay as the writer and Nezaket Coşkun as the director.
The upcoming drama is set to tell a powerful story of revenge, family secrets and unfinished business.
The story follows Fikriye, a woman believed to have died after someone threw her into a well. However, her story does not end there.
Years later, she returns to the land where she was born, this time as Prosecutor Ferda, ready to confront the people and events connected to her painful past.
Özge Törer Leads the Series
The lead role of Ferda will be played by Özge Törer, who will portray a woman returning to her hometown.
With a completely different identity and a strong determination to uncover the truth.
Ferda’s return will reopen old wounds and reveal long-hidden secrets.

Sermiyan Midyat will appear as Kadir Ağa, one of the important figures in Ferda’s hometown. Cenan Çamyurdu will play Ferda’s father, Hamdi, adding another significant family dynamic to the series.
Five More Actors Join the Cast
As casting continues, five more actors have reportedly joined the project.
Elçin Atamgüç will portray Nadire, Ferda’s mother, while Uğur Uzunel will play her brother Harun. Emrah Özdemir will play Ferda’s brother-in-law.
Meanwhile, Ali Önsöz will take on the role of Alperen, Ferda’s first love. Abdullah Cersel will portray the character of Bekir.
