“Karakuyu” Adds Five New Actors as Preparations Continue

Kanal D’s highly anticipated new drama “Karakuyu” is continuing its preparations ahead of production, with several new names joining the cast. OGM Pictures will produce the series, with Deniz Akçay as the writer and Nezaket Coşkun as the director.

The upcoming drama is set to tell a powerful story of revenge, family secrets and unfinished business.

The story follows Fikriye, a woman believed to have died after someone threw her into a well. However, her story does not end there.

Years later, she returns to the land where she was born, this time as Prosecutor Ferda, ready to confront the people and events connected to her painful past.

Özge Törer Leads the Series

The lead role of Ferda will be played by Özge Törer, who will portray a woman returning to her hometown.

With a completely different identity and a strong determination to uncover the truth.

Ferda’s return will reopen old wounds and reveal long-hidden secrets.

Her journey will form the emotional core of “Karakuyu,” while her relationships with her family and the people from her past will add further tension to the story.

Sermiyan Midyat will appear as Kadir Ağa, one of the important figures in Ferda’s hometown. Cenan Çamyurdu will play Ferda’s father, Hamdi, adding another significant family dynamic to the series.

Five More Actors Join the Cast

As casting continues, five more actors have reportedly joined the project.

Elçin Atamgüç will portray Nadire, Ferda’s mother, while Uğur Uzunel will play her brother Harun. Emrah Özdemir will play Ferda’s brother-in-law.

Meanwhile, Ali Önsöz will take on the role of Alperen, Ferda’s first love. Abdullah Cersel will portray the character of Bekir.

These actors will strengthen the family and relationship dynamics at the heart of the story.

With several characters closely connected to Ferda’s past, their roles could become important as the secrets surrounding Fikriye’s disappearance gradually come to light.

Filming Will Take Place in Tokat

The team is currently preparing “Karakuyu” for production and reportedly considering Tokat as the main filming location. The region’s atmosphere and landscape will complement the series’ dramatic and mysterious tone.

The production team continues preparations, with more casting details expected in the coming days. The series will also begin filming soon.

With a story built around a woman who returns to confront the people and circumstances that shaped her past, “Karakuyu” is shaping up to be one of Kanal D’s notable upcoming dramas.

The combination of a strong female lead, family conflicts, buried secrets and a story of revenge could give the series plenty of dramatic tension.

At the premiere, viewers will see how Ferda’s return changes the lives of those who believed Fikriye was gone forever.
